My Travel Experience in San Antonio, TX
Hi ya’ll,
I’m back with the posts this week! I wanted to start this week off with a vacay-related post since I just got back from traveling this past weekend. If you are wondering, why we decided to go to San Antonio of all places, it’s because 1) it was closer and cheaper and 2) it was an excuse to travel with my boyfriend to spent quality time together. Overall, San Antonio was the best option and provided a lot of things for us to do. It was also our second time traveling there together. We went there together this past year for our 3 year anniversary. We weren’t able to do as much as we wanted to but we did enjoy the food and the environment.
I also want to let you know that we spent most our time looking at apartments because I will be moving down there in the near future for a job opportunity.
Anyway, here are a couple of places we visited in San Antonio:
Taqueria Datapoint: The food here was to die for and is definitely the most recommended place to go for some affordable and delicious Mexican cuisine.
Japanese Tea Garden: The first time we went there was during our anniversary weekend. We were able to see the beautiful flower garden and was able to take some cute pictures by the scenery around us. We had amazing time exploring the garden and it was super close to the San Antonio Zoo. ( literally, we walked to the zoo from the tea garden and it took us less than 10 minutes to get there)
The River Walk ( Bubba Gump Shrimp and Joe’s Crab Shack): The riverwalk is the main reason why people decide to visit San Antonio. I would totally recommend you taking a boat ride around the riverwalk and eating at the many restaurants surrounding the riverwalk. ( i would definitely recommend bubba Gump shrimp for seafood. It was delicious!)
Hotel Accommodations:
Hilton Hotel Airport: I loved staying here, the beds were comfy but the only thing I didn’t like is the food. It definitely wasn’t worth the money that we spent on it but the room was amazing. I would definitely stay here again, i just would rather eat out than eat in the hotel.
I do want to disclaim that these are the places that we visited either the first time we went there or the second. We didn’t do as much exploring the second time around as we did the first but I will be back in San Antonio soon, so I will be able to see everything San Antonio has to offer.
If you’ve never been, i would definitely put it as another destination to add to your list.
